Judy-Ann Shelburg

Treasurer

Judy-Ann is a “captured” Iowan, growing up mostly in West Des Moines.  She now calls Carlisle her home.  She has five kids who have kept her busy with their school, church, theater and other various activities. Judy and her family welcomed her husband, Nate, into their home in 2016 and they all agree that he is an amazing human. Additionally, they have a hyper boxer named Diesel and brought home Denver (kitten) at the end of October 2017.

Judy- Ann is an Accounting Supervisor for Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) in Urbandale, Iowa. She has been with MMC since 2009 moving through different accounting positions. Her role focuses mostly on the operations and keeping the wheels on the bus. She has recently began pursuing a MBA in Operational Development through Upper Iowa University and is excited to see what opportunities the program can bring!

Judy volunteered heavily with the children’s program at Oakwood United Methodist Church for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering for Class Act Productions Theater in Altoona, a non-profit children’s theater. She also loves helping out with other fun, local events around Des Moines like the World Food & Music Festival or CelebrAsian.

When it is not work, family or school she likes to play and laugh with friends. Judy-Ann spends as much time with her kids (as they will let her). She and her husband love playing summer softball and just completed their first try at fall volleyball this year. She likes to walk the dog, ride her bike, paddle board, try new foods and visit wineries and breweries. She also likes to hunker down and binge on Netflix. They are currently trying to plow our way through Game of Thrones after a lot of pestering from our friends
